METAL WORKER'S STRIKE REFUSE ILEGAL OUTSOURCING

About 2200 metal workers from Federation Of Indonesian Metal Worker's union (FSPMI) go strike in Batam to refuse illegally outsourcing which mostly happened In Batam, Riau Island province.
Illegal Outsourcing has suffered the workers. Some workers receive lower pay although they are doing the same job, same section in the same company.
It is because of the worker status ( Outsource worker or direct worker )
Also workers did not receive any health insurance and did not register as Jamsostek member (standard Worker social insurance in Indonesia).
After a view hours oration some delegation from union can meet government and parliament delegation to do hearing. Latest update, Disnaker Batam ( Batam Manpower ministry ) supported by union do checking all company who does illegal outsource.
By latest end of this month they should get the listing and Disnaker Batam ( Batam Manpower ministry ) promises will take an action on this.
